walgreens trip!

i had a wonderful trip to walgreens yesterday afternoon!!

here's what i got (and what you can get, too!!)

and one $3 or $4 coupon from here for the one you're not getting free

math... $15.98 - $8 = $7.98 / 2 = $3.99 - $3 = 99 cents for TWO!

i got two boxes of the free excedrin menstrual gels see the deal here.
(they wouldn't let me use two manufacturer's coupons, so i had to give up two $1 coupons)
math... $5.99 each x 2 = 11.98 - $8 (from two$4 easysaver coupons) - $4 (from two $2/1 manufacturer's coupons) = -.02

buy one irish springs body wash, get a catalina coupon for a free one! (catalina coupons are the ones that print out after your receipt!)
plus, i had a $1/1 coupon (from the 2/22 paper i believe) so it only cost me $3.50 for two!
math...$4.49 - $1 (one $1/1 manufacturers coupon) = $3.50

then.. because i had more coupons than i had items, i picked up some nail polish remover, pepper, and ramen noodles!
math... $1.49 + $1 + 30 cents = $2.79

TOTAL so, after all was said and done, my total was $15.49 including tax. i used my $10 register reward from the dove soap deal, and ended up paying $5.49 out of pocket for all of this. then, subtract the $5.99 i will get back from the axe rebate, and i actually MADE MONEY!!
