when i first began champaign county couponing, i was a single woman with a lot of time on my hands!

as you know, i recently moved and we have SO much in front of us to get done. i am going to concentrate on our home for the time being. i still LOVE coupons and deals, but maintaining this site is going to have to fall to the wayside for a little bit.


is there anyone out there who might want to take over champaign county couponing for awhile or possibly indefinitely?

if so, please send me an email and let me know!
there are a consistent 20 to 30 visitors per day and i feel terrible for not being able to give this site the time it truly deserves.

getting back into the swing of things

my apologies for a bad couple of weeks.
things have been SO crazy (as i'm sure you know if you've been reading).
i am FINALLY moved in to our new place... but now we've got a lot of work to do!
making a place "home" on a strict budget isn't easy. there are many diy projects to come! :)

i hope to get back in the swing of things next week!
i've missed 3 papers, so i probably won't have all the coupons you all do, but i'll do my best until i get caught up again.

there are some pretty good things going on at these two places... the deals are definitely better (in my opinion) than they have been the past two weeks.
my only problem is i've reached my print limit on just about all the printable coupons :(

weekly update

yes, this is the second week in a row i have not gotten the paper and am not going to go shopping!

i don't have an excuse for not getting the paper; those coupons can be used later!

but...
i'm in between homes as of the moment. my living arrangements are temporary and i don't have internet!
life seems a little disorganized and a lot chaotic. most coupon bloggers do the stay at home thing. i work full time and it takes a lot of time each week to keep up with this blog as well, so i suppose you could say i'm taking a vacation until we get settled in our new home (the end of the month!!!)

i've been so busy i feel like i haven't even had time to breathe, let alone think about coupons...
almost everything has been moved to storage.. only to be moved back out in a couple of weeks! time between one lease ending and another beginning is NO FUN.

this week's update

i am getting more and more disappointed in walgreens and cvs deals as the weeks go by. this will be another week of no shopping for me!
BUT.. cvs is having some amazing deals on school supplies if you've got kids getting ready to start back up in august! check them out, they only last through tuesday.

i haven't even looked at the meijer ad yet this week! i have to be packed up and moved out of my apartment wednesday, and my little sister and i had a jam-packed weekend at the brookfield zoo and a jonas brothers concert!

i will try to make time asap..
i usually find a few more deals than are posted on the cincinnati cents.. possibly because we have different coupons? they seem to be SO regional.
(and..... i didn't even get a paper yesterday, shame on me! i hope the news-gazette still has some left)
